Moving to the IOM

The Isle of Man is a self-governing, non-EC state situated in the Irish Sea at the centre of the British Isles. The Island is approximately 33 miles long from North to South and 13 miles wide East to West at the widest points. The Island enjoys a wide variety of scenery, with a range of hills stretching obliquely across the Island, the highest point of which is a mountain “Snaefell”, at 2036 feet.

The Isle of Man is a low tax area, with a population of around 85,000, that has evolved into a nation serving the highest demands of today’s commerce and finance sectors, whilst retaining the traditional values that constitute a healthy and secure way of life, in pictureresque and enjoyable surroundings.

Communication with the UK and Ireland are excellent, with rapid connection by air, including London 60 minutes, Manchester 45 minutes, Birmingham 55 minutes and Dublin 35 minutes.

The Island is served by Sea from Heysham and Liverpool all year round, with Ferry and Fastcraft services, those services are expanded during the summer months, to Belfast and Dublin. The Island offers numerous leisure pursuits, including Sailing, Golf, Equestrian, Sports, Fishing, Rambling, Climbing, not to mention the world famous TT and Manx Grand Prix Races, together with numerous cultural activities, The Island also has one of the finest, restored Victorian Theatres in the British Isles.
